Lebanon's Drug Kingpin Arrested

Lebanons most wanted drug trafficker, Noah Zeiter, was arrested this week, marking a significant blow to illicit drug networks. Zeiter, known for producing and smuggling cannabis, was sanctioned by the US and UK for his alleged involvement in Captagon production alongside Syrian regime figures. His arrest is part of a broader initiative to combat drug trafficking, particularly through Lebanons borders with Syria and into Gulf states, which has had a significant economic impact on Lebanon. The arrest comes as Lebanon and Syria work to improve ties following Assads downfall. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered. Hosted on Acast.
