Lebanon Offers Israel Border Hills Withdrawal

Lebanons President Aoun proposes negotiations with Israel to end strikes and secure withdrawal from border hills, offering Lebanese troop deployment. The offer comes amidst Israels intensified military actions, including a deadly airstrike in a Palestinian refugee camp. Aoun suggests U.S., UN, or international community sponsorship for negotiations, with UNIFIL verifying Lebanese state forces deployment. Israel claims Hezbollah rebuilding military capabilities, following a recent conflict that resulted in over four thousand deaths in Lebanon and one hundred twenty-seven in Israel.
