Kenyan Activists Found Alive in Uganda

Two Kenyan activists, Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo, who vanished in Uganda, have been found alive. They were reportedly abducted by masked, uniformed individuals after supporting Ugandan opposition leader Bobi Wine. The activists were transported back to Kenya, and human rights groups hope this incident signals a shift towards upholding human rights in the East African Community. Bobi Wine, a presidential candidate, accused the Ugandan government of targeting the activists due to their association with him, raising concerns about governments suppressing dissent.
