Israel's Parliament Votes for Trump's Gaza Plan

Israels governing coalition skipped a parliamentary vote on Trumps Gaza peace plan, with only a small fraction of lawmakers participating. The vote, mostly symbolic, passed with 39 in favor and none against, as Lapid shared Israels official support for the plan. The vote could have caused embarrassment for Netanyahu, with some coalition partners criticizing the plan. Meanwhile, Trump received a standing ovation at the Knesset and later criticized a preliminary vote calling for West Bank annexation, which he had previously opposed.
