Iran's Military Drills: A Show of Force in the Gulf

Irans Revolutionary Guards Navy recently showcased its military prowess with significant exercises in the Gulf, launching missiles and drones at simulated targets. This demonstration of force comes amidst heightened regional tensions, following a twelve-day air conflict between Israel and Iran in June. The exercises also coincide with an anti-terrorism drill in Irans northwestern province, involving members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Western nations view Irans ballistic missiles as a significant threat to regional stability, with concerns they could potentially serve as a delivery mechanism for nuclear weapons.
