Indonesian Teen's Lone Bomb Attack at Mosque

An Indonesian teenager, inspired by online extremist groups, carried out a bomb attack at his school mosque, injuring 96 people. The suspect, a reclusive student, built bombs using YouTube instructions and materials from online marketplaces. He joined an international Telegram channel discussing past attacks, including Christchurch and Columbine. Police found a diary detailing his plans, and he is now recovering in the hospital. The parole and probation office will determine if hes eligible for trial. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
