IndiGo's Operations Back to Normal, Flights Cut by 10%
IndiGo, Indias largest airline, has resumed normal operations following a tumultuous period of flight cancellations and disruptions. The airline, which had previously canceled over three thousand flights, was ordered by aviation authorities to reduce its winter flight schedule by ten percent. This significant cut, double the initially announced reduction, may result in over two hundred daily flights being canceled. Despite this, IndiGo will continue to serve all its usual destinations. The airline has been instructed to submit its updated flight schedule to the regulator by Wednesday. While this government action may benefit passengers in the long run, analysts suggest that travelers might face higher fares in the short term. IndiGos CEO, Peter Elbers, has been summoned to explain the airlines crisis management and passenger complaint handling. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered. Hosted on Acast.
