Honduras Election: Nasralla Alleges Fraud, Trump Endorsement Impact

In Honduras, presidential candidate Salvador Nasralla alleges fraud in the recent election, claiming a last-minute endorsement from Donald Trump for opponent Nasry Asfura significantly impacted the outcome. With eighty-seven percent of ballots counted, Nasralla trails by a slim margin, and seventeen percent are under review due to inconsistencies. Nasralla suspects algorithm changes, but no direct proof of wrongdoing has been found. The Organization of American States has not found evidence of manipulation, with some experts attributing issues to incompetence rather than fraud. The final outcome remains uncertain as the review of inconsistent ballots continues. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered. Hosted on Acast.
