Hamas Thanks Trump for Gaza Ceasefire

In an exclusive interview, Hamas official Doctor Basem Naim thanks former President Donald Trump for his role in securing a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The agreement, which marks the first phase of a broader peace deal, allows Hamas to step aside for a Palestinian body to govern post-war Gaza, but fighters will remain armed. Doctor Naim also rules out former UK Prime Minister Sir Tony Blairs involvement in any post-war role due to past conflicts. Questions remain about the next phases of the peace plan, with Israel hinting at renewing offensive if Hamas doesnt give up weapons. Doctor Naim expresses satisfaction with Trumps plan, but accusations of genocide against Israel remain. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered. Hosted on Acast.
