Hamas Suspects Arrested in Germany, Denmark, UK

German authorities arrest suspected Hamas member Borhan El-K, accused of acquiring weapons for attacks on Jewish targets. He was apprehended with an automatic rifle, eight Glock pistols, and over six hundred rounds of ammunition. These weapons were reportedly handed over to another suspected Hamas member, Wael FM, in Berlin. Wael FM and two other men were arrested in October, charged with preparing a serious act of violence and being members of a foreign terrorist organization. Authorities believe the group had been gathering supplies since the summer, with the weapons intended for assassination attempts on Israeli or Jewish institutions in Germany. Hamas denies any connection to the men. Another alleged member, Mohammed A, was arrested in London in November. Borhan El-K was scheduled to appear before a judge today. These arrests follow a similar case in February, where four other suspected Hamas members went on trial in Berlin for allegedly plotting attacks on Jewish sites across Europe.
