FAI Calls for Israel's UEFA Suspension

FAI Approves Motion to Suspend Israel from European Competitions: The Football Association of Ireland has voted to ask UEFA to ban Israel and its club teams from European competitions due to alleged failure to implement an effective anti-racism policy and playing in settlements in the occupied West Bank without Palestinian FAs consent. This decision follows similar calls from Turkish and Norwegian football leaders and a UN commissions accusation of genocide against Israel. However, Israel denies these accusations and a potential ban could strain relations with the US government. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered. Hosted on Acast.
