European Leaders Draft Ukraine Peace Proposal

European leaders are crafting their own peace proposal for Ukraine, aiming to strengthen the deal and make it tougher on Russia. This comes as the US-Russia plan is deemed too favorable to Russia. Ukraine, relying on American military support, cannot accept a deal that would require territorial concessions and significant military reductions. The G20 summit in South Africa is a key platform for these discussions. The UK, in close contact with France, Germany, and Ukraine, is focusing criticism on Russia for its continued aggression and lack of ceasefire calls. The goal is to ensure Ukraines interests are represented while maintaining alliances. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered. Hosted on Acast.
