Blue Islands Suddenly Suspends Operations

Blue Islands, a regional airline connecting Channel Islands to UK cities and Paris/Bruges, abruptly suspends operations, canceling all flights. The company, which had recently advertised job openings, expresses regret for the inconvenience. Ticket holders should contact their bank, travel agent, or holiday company. Loganair offers rescue fares for affected passengers. The airlines sudden closure, following governments refusal to provide further support, underscores the vulnerability of regional airlines.
