Bear in Crawl Space Terrorizes California Man

Ken Johnson, a Southern California resident, is sharing his home with a black bear living in his crawl space. The bear, as tall as a table, was first spotted in June and has since been causing damage and making noise. This isnt an isolated incident in Altadena, where bears have been taking refuge in evacuated homes following the Eaton Fire. Johnson has reported the bear to local authorities but hasnt received a response. Bears in crawl spaces are common this time of year, with teams responding to multiple incidents weekly.
