Activist Arrested for Painting Crosswalks in LA

Activists in Los Angeles, frustrated with slow crosswalk painting progress, have been painting them themselves. Jonathan Hale, from Peoples Vision Zero, was arrested for vandalism after a paint party at a west LA intersection. He believes the city could have avoided spending taxpayer dollars on removing their half-finished crosswalk. The mayors office has offered to collaborate for safer streets, but Hale has received little response. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered. Hosted on Acast.
