- Nintendo Price Hikes: Nintendo is increasing prices for the original Switch, Switch OLED, Switch Lite, and select accessories in the US starting August 3rd, citing "market conditions" likely related to new tariffs. Switch 2 consoles will not see a price hike yet, but some Switch 2 accessories and Amiibo will.
- Switch 2 Sales Update: The Nintendo Switch 2 has sold 5.82 million units worldwide since its June 5th launch, with Mario Kart World selling 5.63 million copies in the same period.
- Kirby Air Riders Rated: Masahiro Sakurai's Kirby Air Riders for Switch 2 has been rated in Saudi Arabia, suggesting an upcoming release. Other 2025 Switch releases include Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
- Top 10 Switch Games: Nintendo's latest financial report reveals the top 10 best-selling Switch games as of June 2025. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is nearing 70 million units, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has crossed 48 million, and Super Mario Odyssey is close to 30 million.
- Battlefield 6 Details: EA's Vince Zampella calls Battlefield 6 a "spiritual successor" to Battlefield 3 and 4, emphasizing large-scale maps and a "grounded" aesthetic for player skins, unlike Call of Duty's licensed crossovers.
- No Battlefield 6 for Switch 2: EA currently has no plans to bring Battlefield 6 to the Nintendo Switch 2, focusing on platforms where the "core Battlefield audience is present" (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC). However, Plants Vs Zombies: Replanted, EA FC, Madden, and Apex Legends are coming to Switch 2.
- Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection: Physical editions of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection are announced for PS5, Xbox, Switch 2, and PC, including Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Pre-orders are open via the Atari Store, with physical shipments on December 12th.
