Operation Iron Tomb: Escaping The Wall Of Fused Meat and Metal

📖 Written by Galactic Horrors

After the assault collapses into massacre, a lone walker pilot becomes a moving tomb inside his own crippled machine, forcing a retreat across a battlefield the dead refuse to stay dead on. The necro-technological plague does not merely reanimate corpses; it repurposes war wreckage, armor shards, and discarded guns into ambulatory masses that turn the canyon route to the last starport into a gauntlet of mechanical carrion. His path first bottlenecks at a bridge formed from collapsed war machines, a fragile causeway hanging over a kill zone where the plague is actively knitting the wreckage below into something massive enough to climb after him.
