I'm A Ranger On A Rescue Mission To A Hidden Valley In Yosemite. It's Swallowing Families | Sci-Fi

📖 Written by Galactic Horrors

A Yosemite search-and-rescue ranger follows a missing family off a day-use turnout and into a hidden backcountry cleft where the map stops making sense. Blue painter’s tape, a child’s voice crackling through a dead radio, and fresh prints leading one way pull him deeper into an impossible valley of black meltwater, bone-white trees, and shifting seasons. The farther he searches, the less he can trust his compass, the terrain, or the voices calling from the dark. With an injured family somewhere ahead and the route home narrowing with the light, every rescue choice starts to look like a trap. This is wilderness survival horror with a cosmic edge: intimate, procedural, and steadily unnerving.
