Desde 7 de outubro de 2023, enquanto os olhos estavam postos em Gaza, o projeto colonial sionista expandiu o seu controlo da Cisjordânia, principalmente na Área C. Em Masafer Yatta, no sul da região, colonatos cresceram em tamanho, novos postos foram ganhando forma, colonos passaram a usar uniforme militar e armas mais poderosas, os ataques, raptos e detenções tornaram-se diários e a tortura nas prisões passou a ser um pesadelo.
