S2 Ep20: Sister Cathy, The Archdiocese Speaks, Part 1

In this pivotal twentieth episode, the team embarks on a path few have treaded – securing a sit-down with a high-ranking official from the Archdiocese of Baltimore. This two-part interview with the Vice-Chancellor represents a monumental step forward in our ongoing quest to shed light on the events surrounding the tragic and mysterious death of Sister Cathy Cesnik.

With a sensitive and sobering reminder to survivors of clergy abuse, this episode ventures into discussions that may unearth painful truths and trigger distressing memories. Our approach remains cautious, yet unflinching, as we navigate the complex and often dark corridors of this historical case.

As a journalist, my commitment to maintaining a respectful discourse does not undermine the resolve to ask hard-hitting questions. This dialogue with the Archdiocese is about persistence, respect, and the relentless pursuit of the truth. Listeners are invited to join us in this rare encounter as we dissect the church's narrative, confront the silence that has overshadowed Sister Cathy's story for too long, and perhaps come closer to understanding the intricacies of this decades-old mystery.

It's a significant moment for all those who seek answers, and for the voices that have been quieted by time and turmoil. This episode is not just a chapter in storytelling; it's a record of history, an assertion of accountability, and a tribute to the power of journalistic inquiry.
