Ramble Meets... Perry Groves

As well as enjoying a 12-year professional career consisting of over 400 appearances, Groves was a big part of the team that won two league titles for Arsenal under George Graham and was a fan favourite at Highbury, thanks to his exciting wing play and endearing nature. In this exclusive interview, Perry discusses his journey to fulfilling his dream of playing for Arsenal, the two achilles tendon injuries that forced him to retire at just 28 and his more recent career in the media.

Perry’s company, Play with a Legend, allows you to take to the field with your footballing heroes as part of a corporate event, birthday or stag do. Visit playwithalegend.com to organise your unique event with an ex-pro of your choice at venues around the country!
