The Cricket Collective - England's World Cup In Tatters & Sir Alastair Cook Retires!

Neil Manthorp is joined by the former England fast bowler Steve Harmison to look back at England's 69-run defeat to Afghanistan, which leaves them with 2 defeats from their opening 3 World Cup matches - they hear the thoughts of both England batter Dawid Malan and legendary commentator David 'Bumble' Lloyd. The former Australia spinner Brad Hogg also reflects on their poor start to the tournament, and discusses what could be to blame for that. The Essex Head Coach Anthony McGrath joins the show to pay tribute to Sir Alastair Cook after his retirement from the sport at the age of 38, and we reflect on the news that Cricket will be included at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, and we end the show with our Final Word feature.
