Sl: Mateja je stala na obali Blejskega jezera.

Sl: Jesenska megla se je vila nad vodo, listje je bilo oranžno in zlato, drevesa so šumela v vetriču.
En: The autumn mist curled over the water; the leaves were orange and gold, the trees rustled in the breeze.

Sl: Mateja je vsako noč slišala skrivnostno melodijo.
En: Every night, Mateja heard a mysterious melody.

Sl: Glasba je prihajala iz središča jezera.
En: The music was coming from the center of the lake.

Sl: Nihče ni vedel, od kod prihaja.
En: No one knew where it came from.

Sl: Bila je radovedna.
