Sl: Pod jesenskim nebom, v zraku diši po svežem listju.
En: Under the autumn sky, the air smells of fresh leaves.

Sl: Maja in Nejc hodita po tlakovani poti, ki vodi k Ljubljanskemu gradu.
En: Maja and Nejc walk along the cobblestone path leading to Ljubljanski grad.

Sl: Dve leti mlajši Maji srce bije bolj hitro, kot bi si želela.
En: Two years younger, Maja's heart beats faster than she would like.

Sl: "Nejc, počasi," reče in gleda brata.
En: "Nejc, slow down," she says, looking at her brother.

Sl: Nejc se ustavi in pogleda Majo.
En: Nejc stops and looks at Maja.

Sl: "Maja, si prepričana, da je to pametno? Oče je vedno skrivnosten glede preteklosti."
En: "Maja, are you sure this is wise? Father is always secretive about the past."

Sl: Maja se nasmehne.
En: Maja smiles.

Sl: Maja začne brskati med mapami.
En: Maja starts searching through the folders.

Sl: "Tukaj mora biti nekaj."
En: "There must be something here."

Sl: Po dolgem iskanju Nejc opazi nekaj nenavadnega.
En: After a long search, Nejc notices something unusual.

Sl: "Maja, poglej to."
En: "Maja, look at this."

Sl: V rokah drži pisma, stara in nekoliko porumenela.
En: He holds letters, old and somewhat yellowed.

Sl: Črke so očitno pisane z nenavadnim, a znanim rokopisom.
En: The handwriting is unusual yet familiar.

Sl: "To je očetov rokopis," šepne Maja.
En: "This is our father's handwriting," Maja whispers.

Sl: "Pisala so o njegovi mladosti in... najini polsestri."
En: "They're about his youth and... our half-sister."

Sl: Pisma razkrijejo zgodbe o očetovih preteklih ljubeznih in o skrivni hčeri, ki so jo držali v senci.
