Sl: Matej, Jasmina in Zoran so sedeli v zatemnjenem podzemnem bunkerju.
En: Matej, Jasmina, and Zoran were sitting in a darkened underground bunker.

Sl: Bunker je bil tesen in poln zalog.
En: The bunker was cramped and full of supplies.

Sl: Po tleh so bile razmetane konzerve in različni predmeti iz zbirke filmov o zombijih.
En: Cans and various items from a collection of zombie movies were scattered on the floor.

Sl: Generator je tiho brnel, svetloba pa je bila zanemarljiva in je oddajala le bledi sijaj.
En: A generator was quietly humming, and the light was negligible, emitting only a pale glow.

Sl: V zraku je bil blag kovinski vonj.
En: There was a faint metallic smell in the air.

Sl: Matej, navdušen nad svojo idejo, je veselo razlagal, kako varno so tukaj.
En: Matej, enthusiastic about his idea, was cheerfully explaining how safe they were there.

Sl: "Če pridejo zombiji, bomo varni," je dejal in gledal svoja prijatelja.
En: "If zombies come, we'll be safe," he said, looking at his friends.

Sl: Bil je prepričan v svojo vlogo vodje.
En: He was confident in his role as leader.

Sl: Jasmina ga je poslušala s skepticizmom.
En: Jasmina listened to him with skepticism.

Sl: "Res? Kaj pa če smo samo mi ujeti tukaj notri?" je vprašala. Slišala je, kako rahlo odmeva njen glas.
En: "Really? What if we're just trapped in here?" she asked, hearing her voice softly echo.

Sl: Zoran se je izza manjšega kupa čipsa samo zasmejal.
En: Zoran just laughed from behind a smaller pile of chips.

Sl: "Duhu, vsekakor bo to dobra zgodba za Instagram," je povedal in napil pločevinko piva.
En: "Dude, it'll definitely be a good story for Instagram," he said and took a sip from a can of beer.

Sl: Ni razmišljal, saj je menil, da je to še ena Matejeva nenavadna pustolovščina.
En: He wasn't worried, thinking this was just another one of Matej's unusual adventures.

Sl: Ko so začeli pripravljati načrte, so zaslišali, kako ključavnica bunkerja zaskrbljujoče klikne.
En: As they started making plans, they heard the lock of the bunker clicking worryingly.

Sl: Hitro so ugotovili, da so se zaklenili notri.
En: They quickly realized they had locked themselves in.

Sl: Matej je zdrznil.
En: Matej flinched.

Sl: Njegov "junak" načrt je propadel, ker je ključ ostal zunaj.
En: His "hero" plan had failed because the key was left outside.

Sl: "Zoran, imaš ta navodila na telefonu, kajne?" je vprašala Jasmina in pogledala Zorana z upanjem.
En: "Zoran, you have those instructions on your phone, right?" asked Jasmina, looking at Zoran with hope.

Sl: "Uh... ja, ampak ni signala," je odgovoril Zoran po pregledu telefona.
En: "Uh... yeah, but there's no signal," replied Zoran after checking his phone.

Sl: Nastala je tišina.
En: Silence fell.

Sl: "Moramo narediti nekaj," je rekel Matej s tresočimi rokami.
En: "We need to do something," said Matej with trembling hands.

Sl: "Moramo signalizirati pomoč."
En: "We need to signal for help."

Sl: Jasmina je predlagala, naj preverijo zaloge.
En: Jasmina suggested they check the supplies.

Sl: "Morda imamo kakšen uporaben pripomoček," je rekla.
En: "Maybe we have some useful gadget," she said.

Sl: Njuna upanja so bila podobna tisti rahli svetlobi, ki jo je oddajala žarnica.
