Sl: V sončnem popoldnevu se je Goriška Brda vila skozi zlate vinske trte.
En: On a sunny afternoon, Goriška Brda wound through the golden vineyards.

Sl: Jesen je dišala po grozdju in veter je šepetal skrivnosti med vinogradi.
En: Autumn smelled of grapes, and the wind whispered secrets among the vineyards.

Sl: Maja, Borut in Živa so hodili po ozki poti, ki je vodila med vrstami grozdja.
En: Maja, Borut, and Živa walked along a narrow path that led through the rows of grapes.

Sl: Bili so navdušeni nad lepoto pokrajine in uživali so v razgledu.
En: They were captivated by the beauty of the landscape and enjoyed the view.

Sl: Živa je pripovedovala o tem, kako se prideluje vino.
En: Živa was talking about how wine is produced.

Sl: Borut je bil zadovoljen, ker so bile okoli njih steklenice vina, ki čakajo na pokušino.
En: Borut was pleased because there were wine bottles around them waiting for tasting.

Sl: Nenadoma so zaslišali vrvež in smeh.
En: Suddenly, they heard noise and laughter.

Sl: Vzdignili so oči in zagledali množico ljudi, ki se je zbrala okoli lesenih kadi.

Sl: Na velikem transparentu je pisalo: "Tekmovanje v stiskanju grozdja.
En: On a large banner, it read: "Grape Pressing Competition."

Sl: "Maja je nenadoma postala živahna.
En: Maja suddenly became lively.

Sl: "Pridružimo se!
En: "Let's join in!"

Sl: " je navdušeno predlagala.
En: she enthusiastically suggested.

Sl: Nikdar prej ni stiskala grozdja, a je želela dokazati, da zmore.
En: She had never pressed grapes before but wanted to prove that she could do it.

Sl: Borut se je samo nasmehnil.
En: Borut just smiled.

Sl: "Glavno je, da se zabavamo," je dejal in vzel požirek vina.
En: "The important thing is to have fun," he said, taking a sip of wine.

Sl: Živa se je odločila, da bo navdušila lastnika vinograda, ki je stal ob strani in nadziral tekmovanje.
En: Živa decided to impress the vineyard owner, who was standing by, supervising the competition.

Sl: "Ste vedeli," je začela, "da je fermentacija ključni proces pri pridelavi vina?
En: "Did you know," she began, "that fermentation is a key process in wine production?"

Sl: " Toda lastnik je bil zaposlen z dogajanjem in ni slišal njenih besed.
En: But the owner was busy with the event and didn't hear her words.

Sl: Ko so stopili v kad, je Maja pomislila, da bo tekmovanje bolj zapleteno, kot se ji je zdelo.
En: As they stepped into the vat, Maja thought the competition would be more complicated than it seemed.

Sl: Grozdje je bilo spolzko, Borut je nagajivo brcal, in Živina pozornost je bila bolj na vinogradu kot na nalogi.
En: The grapes were slippery, Borut playfully kicked, and Živa's attention was more on the vineyard than the task.

Sl: Kljub težavam so našli ritem.
En: Despite the challenges, they found their rhythm.

Sl: Vsi so stopili kot eno, njihovi smehi so napolnili zrak.
En: They all stepped as one, their laughter filling the air.

Sl: Tik preden se je tekmovanje končalo, je Borut nenadoma spodrsnil.
En: Just before the competition ended, Borut suddenly slipped.

Sl: Kadi je grozila, da se bo prevrnila, grozdje je letelo na vse strani in Maja je zakričala.
En: The vat threatened to topple, grapes...
