Sl: Bledski grad je veličastno stal nad modrimi vodami Blejskega jezera.
En: The Bledski grad majestically stood above the blue waters of Blejsko jezero.

Sl: Pomlad je cvetela, zrak je bil poln vonja cvetočih lila.
En: Spring was in full bloom, and the air was filled with the scent of blossoming lilacs.

Sl: Tadej je bil napet.
En: Tadej was tense.

Sl: Hodil je po poti, ki ga je vodila nazaj v preteklost.
En: He walked along the path that led him back to the past.

Sl: V zadnjih letih je Bled zapustil, pobegnil pred spomini in težavami, ki jih je pustil za seboj.
En: In recent years, he had left Bled, fleeing from the memories and troubles he had left behind.

Sl: Zdaj je bil nazaj, da bi našel notranji mir.
En: Now, he was back to find inner peace.

Sl: Na grajskem dvorišču je bila Anja.

Sl: Kako si?

Sl: Dolgo te ni bilo!
En: It's been so long!"

Sl: " Njene oči so bile tople, a je v njih zaznal tudi pridih skrbi.
En: Her eyes were warm, but he also sensed a hint of concern in them.

Sl: "Anja," je odgovoril s tihim glasom.
En: "Anja," he replied quietly.

Sl: "Prišel sem, da uredim stvari.
En: "I've come to set things right.

Sl: Želim se pomiriti z Matevžem.
En: I want to make peace with Matevž."

Sl: "Anja je vedela, kako težka naloga ga čaka.

Sl: "Matevž je še vedno enak," je rekla.

Sl: "Je trmast, a imam občutek, da te bo poslušal.

Sl: "Tadej se je globoko oddahnil.
En: Tadej took a deep breath.

Sl: Nadaljeval je proti koncu dvorišča, kjer je Matevž popravljal stare kamnite stene.
En: He continued towards the end of the courtyard, where Matevž was repairing the old stone walls.

Sl: Ko ga je zagledal, se mu je srce stisnilo.
En: When he saw him, his heart tightened.

Sl: Tadej in Matevž sta se nazadnje sprla zaradi družinskega nesporazuma, ki je povzročil razkol.
En: Tadej and Matevž had last argued over a family misunderstanding that caused a rift.

Sl: "Matevž," je začel Tadej previdno.
En: "Matevž," Tadej began carefully.

Sl: Matevž ga je pogledal z neizražljivim obrazom.
