Sl: Sončno popoldne je med učenci vzbudilo navdušenje, ko so skupaj s svojo učiteljico prispeli na starodavne ruševine Histrije.
En: A sunny afternoon sparked excitement among the students as they, along with their teacher, arrived at the ancient ruins of Histrija.

Sl: Mateja, Rok in Tanja so se razgledali po kamnitih zidovih, ponošenih vetru in času.
En: Mateja, Rok, and Tanja looked around at the stone walls, weathered by wind and time.

Sl: Vonj cvetočih polj je bil v zraku, ptiči so peli pesmi pomladi.
En: The scent of blooming fields filled the air, and birds sang songs of spring.

Sl: Mateja je stala nekoliko v ozadju.
En: Mateja stood somewhat in the background.

Sl: Njena duša je bila nemirna.
En: Her soul was restless.

Sl: Od nekdaj je ljubila zgodovino in sanjarila o skritih zakladih v ruševinah, ki so podajale roke iz preteklosti.

Sl: “Kaj, če najdemo kakšno skrivnostno sobo?
En: "What if we find some mysterious room?"

Sl: ” je Rok namignil s hudomušnim nasmehom.
En: Rok hinted with a mischievous smile.

Sl: Tanja se je nejevoljno namrdnila.
En: Tanja frowned in annoyance.

Sl: “Rok, moramo slediti učiteljici.
En: "Rok, we need to follow the teacher.

Sl: Tukaj smo, da se učimo, ne za igro,” je rekla, medtem ko je ponovno namerila svoj pogled v beležnico, kjer je skrbno zapisovala zapiske.
En: We're here to learn, not to play," she said, while she again focused on her notebook, where she was carefully taking notes.
