Sl: Začelo se je z vonjem, ki je bil nekoč poln življenja, zdaj pa je bil le senca svoje preteklosti.
En: It began with a scent that was once full of life, but now was just a shadow of its past.

Sl: V zraku majhne pražarne kave Mateja opazuje, kako se pražijo zrna, a njen občutek je drugačen.
En: In the air of the small coffee roastery, Mateja watches as the beans roast, yet her feeling is different.

Sl: V vonju je nekaj manjka, nekaj pristnega.
En: Something is missing in the aroma, something genuine.

Sl: V jesenskem jutru, ko veter raznaša liste po pločniku, je Mateja zaskrbljena.
En: On an autumn morning, as the wind scatters leaves along the sidewalk, Mateja is concerned.

Sl: "To ni v redu," si prigovarja tiho in gleda vrsto vreč kave, ki so nedavno prispele.

Sl: "Luka vzdihne.
En: Luka sighs.

Sl: "Vem, Mateja.
En: "I know, Mateja.

Sl: Pojavile so se težave z vremenom tam, kjer pridobivamo zrna.
En: There have been weather issues where we source the beans.

Sl: Veliko dežja, manj sonca.
En: A lot of rain, less sun.

Sl: Pridelava trpi.
En: The production is suffering."

Sl: "Za trenutek sta oba tiho.
En: For a moment, both are silent.
