En: On an early autumn morning, when the wind gently swirled leaves through the streets, Matej was already busy in the office.

En: The glass window offered him a view of the bustling city below.

Sl: Vsi so hiteli sem ter tja, a on je imel svojo bitko.

En: Matej bit his lower lip as he looked at the calendar on his desk.

En: The date was circled in red: the project deadline and Tina's parade costume.

En: Tina, his little daughter, was so excited about the parade.

Sl: Obljubil ji je, da bo prišel.
En: He promised her he would come.

Sl: Ampak projekt ni šel po načrtih.
En: But the project wasn't going according to plan.

Sl: “Očka, boš prišel? Pokaži se, ko bom jaz na vrsti,” so bile Tine besede prejšnji večer.
En: “Daddy, will you come? Show up when I'm on” were Tina's words the previous evening.

Sl: V pisarni je vladal kaos.
En: The office was in chaos.

Sl: Sodelavci so hiteli, telefoni so zvonili, e-pošta je prihajala neustavljivo.
En: Colleagues were rushing, phones were ringing, and emails were coming in relentlessly.

En: Matej was tired, and the pressure was mounting.

Sl: Velik projekt je potreboval njegovo vso pozornost.
En: The big project needed his full attention.

Sl: Vendar je srce želelo biti drugje.
En: However, his heart wanted to be somewhere else.

Sl: Matej je vstopil v sejno sobo.
En: Matej entered the meeting room.

En: His colleague, Ana, was already there.

Sl: “Matej, kako gre?” je vprašala.
En: “Matej, how's it going?” she asked.

Sl: “S težavo,” je priznal.
En: “With difficulty,” he admitted.

Sl: “Tina ima danes parada...”
En: “Tina has a parade today...”

En: Ana saw the stress on his face.

Sl: “Zakaj ne zaprosiš za pomoč? Smo ekipa,” mu je predlagala.
En: “Why don't you ask for help? We're a team,” she suggested.

En: He didn't want them to see his weakness.

Sl: Vendar je nekaj v Aninem glasu bilo pomirjujoče.
En: However, there was something soothing in Ana's voice.

Sl: Delo je šlo naprej, a kocke so padle.
En: Work continued, but the dice had been cast.

En: Just as the project was about to collapse like a house of cards, Matej made a decision.

Sl: “Ana, potrebujem tvojo pomoč,” je rekel s tihim glasom.
En: “Ana, I need your help,” he said quietly.

Sl: Ana se je nasmehnila.
En: Ana smiled.

Sl: “Seveda, začnimo...
