En: In Bratislava, evening was slowly approaching, and a gentle wind swept through the castle courtyard. Sk: Bratislavský hrad stál hrdý a majestátny, jeho veže dotýkali oblohy, zatiaľ čo v pozadí sa objavovali oranžové, červené a žlté listy padajúce zo stromov. En: Bratislava Castle stood proud and majestic, its towers touching the sky, while in the background, orange, red, and yellow leaves were falling from the trees. Sk: Marek a Ivana kráčali pomaly po kamenných chodníkoch, pričom mlčky obdivovali krásu jesene. En: Marek and Ivana walked slowly along the stone paths, silently admiring the beauty of autumn. En: It was their first meeting after many years. En: Marek was now working as an architect in Prague. Sk: Ivana zostala v Bratislave, kde písala pre miestne noviny. En: Ivana had stayed in Bratislava, where she wrote for the local newspapers. Sk: Radosť zo stretnutia kalila otázka, prečo sa ich cesty rozišli. En: Joy from the reunion was clouded by the question of why their paths had parted. En: "Marek, you haven't changed at all," said Ivana with a smile as they stopped by the wall and looked down at the Danube. Sk: "Vždy si mal rád ticho." En: "You've always liked silence." Sk: Marek sa nervózne pousmial. En: Marek smiled nervously. Sk: "Chcem vedieť, Ivanka... prečo sme prestali byť priateľmi?" En: "I want to know, Ivanka... why did we stop being friends?" Sk: Ivana si povzdychla, otočila tvár ku krásne premenenému mestu pod nimi. En: Ivana sighed and turned her face to the beautifully transformed city beneath them. En: Bratislava was her whole life now, yet at this question, she felt nostalgic, as if she was returning to her childhood. Sk: "Vždy sme si boli blízki, Marek. Ale život je zložitý. En: "We were always close, Marek. But life is complicated. Sk: Práca, povinnosti... myslím, že sme obaja mali svoje cesty." En: Work, responsibilities... I think we both had our own paths." Sk: Marek sa zamyslel. En: Marek contemplated. Sk: "Tie cesty by nemali byť prekážkou. Chcem byť opäť tvoj priateľ. En: "Those paths shouldn't be obstacles. I want to be your friend again. En: And not only that," he added, his voice trembling. En: "I still care about you more than I realized." Sk: Ivana sa zamyslela nad jeho slovami. En: Ivana thought about his words. En: The life of a journalist was busy, but she knew that Marek always understood and supported her, even from afar. Sk: "Aj ja som na teba často myslela," priznala. En: "I often thought of you too," she admitted. En: "Maybe we lost touch, but our relationship was always important." Sk: Chvíľku mlčali, obaja ponorení do vlastných myšlienok. En: They were silent for a moment, both immersed in their own thoughts. Sk: Potom sa Marek odvážil položiť poslednú otázku. En: Then Marek dared to ask the final question. Sk: "Môžeme začať odznova? Alebo aspoň pokračovať tam, kde sme prestali?" En: "Can we start over? Or at least continue where we left off?" En: Ivana looked into his eyes, hesitantly, but finally nodded decisively. Sk: "Áno, môžeme. Priateľstvo ako naše by nemalo skončiť bez dôvodu." En: "Yes, we can. A friendship like ours shouldn't end without a reason." En: The leaves rustled under their feet as they headed back to the castle gate. En: The evening lights enveloped the castle in a golden glow, and they knew that something new was beginning. Sk: Mesto pod nimi žilo svojim vlastným životom, ale Marek a Ivana teraz našli opäť svoj. En: The city beneath them lived its own life, but Marek and Ivana had now found theirs again. Sk: Ich priateľstvo zasvietilo ako nikdy predtým, spojené znovu pod jesennými listami Bratislavského hradu. En: Their friendship shone brighter than ever, reunited under the autumn leaves of Bratislava Castle. Sk: A ktovie, čo ešte prinesie budúcnosť. En: And who knows what the future will bring. Sk: Rozhodne
