Sk: Popadané listy šuchotajú pod nohami študentov, ktorí sa ponáhľajú do jedálne na obed.
En: The fallen leaves rustle under the feet of the students hurrying to the cafeteria for lunch.

Sk: Jeseň už rozprestiera svoje pestré plášte cez kopce okolo internátnej školy.
En: Fall is already spreading its colorful cloaks over the hills around the boarding school.

Sk: V jedálni vládne čulý ruch.
En: In the cafeteria, lively commotion rules.

Sk: Smiech študentov a cinkanie príborov sa mieša s vôňou polievky a čerstvého chleba.
En: The laughter of students and the clinking of cutlery mingle with the aroma of soup and fresh bread.

Sk: Marek sedí sám na kraji jednej z dlhých stolov.
En: Marek sits alone at the edge of one of the long tables.

Sk: Je tichý a snaží sa sústrediť na svoju polievku, ale jeho oči neustále putujú k stolu, kde sedí Jana so svojimi kamarátkami.
En: He is quiet and trying to focus on his soup, but his eyes constantly drift to the table where Jana sits with her friends.
