Sk: V jarnom popoludní slnko jemne ohrievalo ulice Starého Mesta v Bratislave.
En: On a spring afternoon, the sun gently warmed the streets of Staré Mesto in Bratislava.
En: Meanwhile, as tourists slowly began to appear in the square, Pavol and his daughter Zuzana walked along the cobblestone streets they knew so well.
En: "I've admired these old buildings since I was a child," said Zuzana with a smile, pointing to the soft-colored facades surrounding the square.
En: "Do you remember how we used to come here for ice cream when I was little?"
En: "Yes, being here with you is like a return to the past. But now you'll have your future," he said with a tight smile, trying to hide the concern he felt.
Sk: Ich kroky ich zaviedli k starodávnému Michalskému mostu.
En: Their steps took them to the ancient Michalský Bridge.
En: The view of the majestic Danube River was peaceful yet mighty.
En: "Zuzana," began Pavol hesitantly, "I’m afraid of how things will change for us when you go to university. I'll miss our daily routine."
En: Zuzana stopped, looking at her father with understanding in her eyes.
Sk: "Aj ja sa bojím, ocko. Nechcem, aby si mal pocit, že odchádzam natrvalo. Potrebujem ťa. Ale potrebujem aj skúsiť samostatnosť."
En: "I'm scared too, Dad. I don't want you to feel like I'm leaving for good. I need you. But I also need to try being independent."
Sk: Pavol sa usmial.
En: Pavol smiled.
Sk: Oplatilo sa bojovať cez svoje obavy, aby počul tieto slová.
En: It was worth fighting through his fears to hear these words.
Sk: "Naša láska a vzájomná podpora prekonajú diaľku.
En: "Our love and support for each other will overcome the distance. You can flourish and be independent, and we'll still be just a heartbeat away from each other."
Sk: Zuzana mu stisla ruku.
En: Zuzana squeezed his hand.
Sk: "Sľubujem, že napíšem... alebo zavolám. Budeme naďalej zdieľať naše myšlienky a príbehy," dodala so smiechom.
En: "I promise I'll write... or call. We'll continue to share our thoughts and stories," she added with a laugh.
Sk: Ich záverečné kroky ulicou Korzo sa niesli v znamení tichej pohody.
En: Their final steps along the Korzo street were marked by a quiet serenity.
Sk: Bratislavské kaviarne sa začali plniť smiechom a rozhovorom návštevníkov, ktorí si užívali jar.
En: The cafes of Bratislava began filling with the laughter and conversation of visitors enjoying the spring.
