Lt: Pavasario saulė švietė ryškiai, kai mokyklos autobusas sustojo prie Trakų salos pilies vartų.
En: The spring sun shone brightly as the school bus stopped at the gates of Trakų Island Castle.

Lt: Mėlynas dangus ir švelnus vėjas žadėjo puikią dieną.
En: The blue sky and gentle breeze promised a wonderful day.

Lt: Studentų grupėje Linas buvo ypač susijaudinęs.
En: Among the group of students, Linas was especially excited.

Lt: Jis nuolat laikė rankose istorijos knygą, bet akys klajojo po spalvingas vyšnių žiedų šakas aplink pilį.
En: He constantly held a history book in his hands, but his eyes wandered over the colorful cherry blossom branches around the castle.

Lt: „Tau patinka šitas grožis?“ – paklausė Rūta, stovėdama šalia.

Lt: Jo širdis plakė tarsi būgnas.
En: His heart pounded like a drum.

Lt: Staiga atidaręs dureles, jis pamatė senovinį kardo ašmenį.
En: Suddenly opening the doors, he saw an ancient sword blade.
