En: When autumn brought its colors to the museum, Rūdolfs, Ieva, and Anete went to the Latvijas Etnogrāfisko atklājumu muzeju.
En: It was the perfect evening for the Veļu time, when ancestors return and stories come alive.
Lv: Rūdolfs ar spožu smaidu bija iecerējis biedēt draugus īpašā veidā.
En: Rūdolfs with a bright smile had planned to scare his friends in a special way.
Lv: "Tikai paslēpšos vecajā guļbūvē un nedaudz viņus pārsteigšu," viņš domāja.
En: "I'll just hide in the old log cabin and surprise them a little," he thought.
En: The museum was spacious, quiet, and lit with small lanterns that cast magical shadows on the colorful leaves.
Lv: Guļbūves izskatījās kā no stāstiem.
En: The log cabins looked like they were from stories.
En: Ieva, cautious by nature, scolded Rūdolfs for his amusements.
Lv: "Esi uzmanīgs, šeit ir vecas lietas," viņa brīdināja.
En: "Be careful, there are old things here," she warned.
En: Anete, with a flashlight in hand, was too busy exploring to pay attention.
En: Rūdolfs slipped between the logs like a small fox, but soon shock replaced delight.
Lv: Durvis, vecas un smagas, viņu ieslēdza.
En: The doors, old and heavy, locked him in.
Lv: Iekāpusi pagātnē, viņa izspēle kļuva par lamatu.
En: Entering the past, his prank became a trap.
En: He struggled with the doors, but they didn't move.
Lv: "Nu būs jāsauc palīdzība," viņš čukstēja, bet lepnums to liedza.
En: "Now I'll have to call for help," he whispered, but pride hindered him.
Lv: Ārpusē Ieva un Anete sāka kāpt pa vecā koka kāpnēm tuvāk guļbūvei.
En: Outside, Ieva and Anete began to climb the old wooden stairs closer to the log cabin.
Lv: Viens pēkšņs troksnis no iekšpuses.
En: A sudden noise from inside.
Lv: Pamežģītas balsis sauca, bet tas nebija plānots.
En: Frayed voices called, but it wasn't part of the plan.
Lv: Ieva uzreiz saprata – ja draudzim patiešām ir problēmas, viņu jāpieveicas.
En: Ieva immediately understood – if a friend is truly in trouble, they need to be helped.
Lv: "Mums jāatrod veids, kā tevi izdabūt!
En: "We need to find a way to get you out!"
Lv: " viņa aicināja Aneti.
En: she urged Anete.
Lv: Ar lukturīti Anete rūpīgi apspīdēja durvis, meklējot veidu, kā palīdzēt.
En: With the flashlight, Anete carefully illuminated the doors, looking for a way to help.
Lv: Viņas atrada nelielu durvju mehānismu, kurā vajadzēja tikpat mazu triku.
En: They found a small door mechanism that required an equally small trick.
Lv: Kopīgi cīnījās ar skrūvēm un rūsas pārsegumiem, kamēr Rūdolfs vadīja instrukcijas no iekšpuses.
