Cs: Nad Českým Krumlovem se táhla hustá šedá mračna.
En: Gray clouds stretched over Český Krumlov.

Cs: Na svátek Dne české státnosti se zde sjelo mnoho poutníků.
En: On the holiday of the Day of Czech Statehood, many pilgrims had gathered here.

Cs: Mezi nimi byli i tři přátelé - Jakub, Petra a Tereza.
En: Among them were three friends - Jakub, Petra, and Tereza.

Cs: Krumlov byl nádherné město.
En: Krumlov was a beautiful city.

Cs: Jeho úzké dlážděné uličky vypadaly jako obrázek z pohádek, nyní však zahalené v dešti a vlnách padajícího listí.
