Cs: V hloubi Amazonie, kde stromy tančily pod klenbou nebes, se Marek, Zuzana a Tomáš vydali na průzkum pralesa.
En: In the depths of the Amazonie, where the trees danced under the canopy of the skies, Marek, Zuzana, and Tomáš set out to explore the jungle.

Cs: Marek byl nadšený.
En: Marek was excited.

Cs: „Představ si tu fotku!
En: "Imagine that photo!"

Cs: " řekl Marek s leskem v očích.
En: said Marek with a sparkle in his eyes.

Cs: „Buď opatrný," nabádala ho Zuzana.
En: "Be careful," Zuzana warned him.

Cs: „Nezapomeň, že musíme držet krok s průvodcem.
En: "Don't forget that we need to keep up with the guide."

Cs: "„Jasně, jasně," odpověděl Marek, myšlenkami už u vzácného ptáčka.
En: "Sure, sure," replied Marek, his thoughts already on the rare bird.

Cs: Vzduch byl vlhký a teplý, zvedalo se z něho zvláštní tajemství.
En: The air was humid and warm, lifting a peculiar mystery.

Cs: Ze stínu stromů se ozvalo opakování „Marek!
En: From the shadows of the trees came the repeated call, "Marek!"

Cs: “ „Kdo to byl?
En: "Who was that?"

Cs: “ zasmál se Tomáš.
En: laughed Tomáš.

Cs: „Někdo tady umí vtipně napodobit.
En: "Someone here knows how to imitate well."

Cs: "To byl onen pták.
En: It was that bird.

Cs: Barevný a hlučný papoušek, jenž stál na větvi nad nimi.
En: A colorful and noisy parrot perched on a branch above them.

Cs: Marek, zaujatý, se rozhodl jít za zvukem dál do pralesa.
En: Marek, intrigued, decided to follow the sound further into the jungle.

Cs: „Musím tu fotku mít," šeptal Marek.
En: "I must get that photo," whispered Marek.

Cs: Zuzana viděla, jak se Marek od nich vzdaluje.
En: Zuzana saw how Marek was moving away from them.

Cs: „Stůj, počkej!
En: "Stop, wait!

Cs: Ztratíme se!
En: We'll get lost!"

Cs: " volala.
En: she called.

Cs: Ale Marek už neslyšel.
En: But Marek could no longer hear.

Cs: Tomáš jí pokynul, a tak ho oba následovali.
En: Tomáš gestured to her, so they both followed him.

Cs: Půl hodiny minulo a husté listoví obklopilo trojici.
En: Half an hour passed, and dense foliage surrounded the trio.

Cs: Pták stále poskakoval kolem, napodobující jejich slova.
En: The bird continued to hop around, mimicking their words.

Cs: „Zuzana!
En: "Zuzana!

Cs: ", "Tomáš!
En: ", "Tomáš!

Cs: ", volal vesele.
En: ", it called out cheerfully.

Cs: „Možná nám ukazuje správnou cestu," vtipkoval Tomáš a napodoboval ptáka zpět.
En: "Maybe it's showing us the right way," joked Tomáš, imitating the bird back.

Cs: „Skvělý nápad!
En: "Great idea!"

Cs: " odpověděl Zuzana s úsměvem na rtech.
En: replied Zuzana with a smile on her face.

Cs: Znenadání se pták zastavil na vrcholku stromu, u skryté vyhlídky.
En: Suddenly, the bird stopped at the top of a tree, at a hidden viewpoint.

Cs: Z téhle výšky viděli zelenou vlajku deštného pralesa rozprostírající se do nekonečna.
En: From this height, they saw the green flag of the rainforest spreading into infinity.

Cs: „To je neuvěřitelné!
En: "This is incredible!"

Cs: " zvolal Marek, vytahujíc fotoaparát.
En: exclaimed Marek, pulling out his camera.
