Cs: Když Marek otevřel dveře staré chalupy v Krkonoších, zavál ho svěží podzimní vzduch.
En: When Marek opened the door of the old cottage in the Krkonoše, a fresh autumn breeze blew in.

Cs: Uvnitř už byla cítit vůně pečeného jablkového koláče, který pekla jejich babička.
En: Inside, there was already the scent of apple pie baking, which their grandmother was making.

Cs: „Ahoj, Lenko,“ zavolal na svou mladší sestru, která už byla vevnitř a prohlížela sbírku starých knih u krbu.
En: "Hello, Lenka," he called to his younger sister, who was already inside examining a collection of old books by the fireplace.

Cs: Lenka vzhlédla s úsměvem.
En: Lenka looked up with a smile.

Cs: „Ahoj, Marek. Nemůžu se dočkat, až se podíváme do lesa,“ řekla nadšeně, až jí oči zářily jako podzimní listí.
En: "Hi, Marek. I can't wait until we go into the forest," she said excitedly, her eyes shining like autumn leaves.

Cs: „Nejdřív musíme pomoci s přípravami na setkání,“ připomněl jí Marek.
En: "First, we have to help with the preparations for the gathering," Marek reminded her.

Cs: Vždy chtěl mít všechno perfektně připravené.
En: He always wanted everything to be perfectly ready.

Cs: Rodina se scházela po dlouhé době a nechtěl nic pokazit.
En: The family was gathering after a long time, and he didn't want anything to go wrong.

Cs: „Ale chceme mít taky nějaké dobrodružství, ne?“ odpověděla Lenka a hned se vydala k oknu, odkud byl výhled na rozlehlý les.
En: "But we also want to have some adventure, right?" replied Lenka, and she immediately headed to the window, from where there was a view of the vast forest.

Cs: Marek si povzdechl.
En: Marek sighed.

Cs: Chtěl, aby všichni byli spokojení, ale zároveň věděl, že organizační povinnosti nesmí zanedbávat.

Cs: „Dobře, nejdřív večeři a pak můžeme jít na krátkou procházku,“ souhlasil nakonec, snažíc se najít rovnováhu mezi povinnostmi a zábavou.
En: "Alright, dinner first, and then we can go for a short walk," he finally agreed, trying to find a balance between duty and fun.

Cs: Příbuzní přijížděli a všichni se radovali ze setkání.
