Cs: Jana, Marek a Lucie stáli na prahu malé dřevěné chaty.
En: Jana, Marek and Lucie stood on the threshold of a small wooden cabin.

Cs: Začínali cítit první sněhové vločky na svých tvářích.
En: They started to feel the first snowflakes on their faces.

Cs: Krkonoše, nádherné na podzim, byly nyní zahaleny bílou peřinou.
En: The Krkonoše Mountains, beautiful in autumn, were now covered with a white blanket.

Cs: Nebe se rychle zatahovalo a sníh pokrýval cesty.
En: The sky was quickly clouding over, and snow was covering the paths.

Cs: Hory je však přitahovaly jako magnet.
En: However, the mountains attracted them like a magnet.

Cs: „Musíme se rychle vrátit,“ řekla Jana, upřeně sledující oblohu.
