Cs: Slunce svítilo nad Prahou a na Karlově mostě vládl čilý ruch.
En: The sun shone over Prahou and a lively bustle ruled on Karlově mostě.

Cs: Lidé spěchali sem a tam, ale uprostřed toho všeho stál Jirka.
En: People hurried back and forth, but in the midst of it all stood Jirka.

Cs: Byl unavený projektový manažer, který přijel do města kvůli pracovní konferenci.
En: He was a tired project manager who had come to the city for a work conference.

Cs: Ačkoli byl prvně v Praze, neměl čas na prohlídky.
En: Although it was his first time in Praze, he didn't have time for sightseeing.
