Hr: U Dubrovniku, grad koji šapuće povijesne priče u uho svakom posjetitelju, jesenje popodne bilo je mirno i prohladno.
En: In Dubrovnik, a city that whispers historical tales into the ears of every visitor, the autumn afternoon was calm and chilly.

Hr: U starom gradu, Ivana, Marijan i Nina stajali su pored stare kamene fontane.
En: In the old town, Ivana, Marijan, and Nina stood next to an old stone fountain.

Hr: Nina, vodičica strastvena pričanjem o Dubrovniku, objašnjavala je povijest zidina koje su ih okruživale.
En: Nina, a guide passionate about talking about Dubrovnik, was explaining the history of the walls surrounding them.

Hr: No, Ivana, kojoj su oči sjajile od uzbuđenja, nije mogla prestati razmišljati o čuvenoj tajnoj prolazu.

En: They stepped through the narrow alleys, the scent of the sea ever-present.

Hr: Zavirivali su iza svakog ugla, kad napokon naiđoše na stari ulaz, polurazrušen i skriven iza bršljana.
En: They peeked around every corner, when finally they came upon an old entrance, half-destroyed and hidden behind ivy.

Hr: "Evo ga!
En: "There it is!"

Hr: " Ivana je uskliknula pobjedonosno.
En: Ivana exclaimed triumphantly.

Hr: Marijan se približi, proučavajući mračni hodnik koji je vodio unutra.
En: Marijan approached, studying the dark hallway that led inside.

Hr: "Ivana, nemamo vremena," upozorila je Nina.
En: "Ivana, we don't have time," Nina warned.

Hr: "Moramo se vratiti.
En: "We have to get back.

En: The group is waiting for us."
