Ru: Михаил стоял на краю бескрайней арктической тундры, вглядываясь вдаль.
En: Mikhail stood at the edge of the boundless Arctic tundra, staring into the distance.

Ru: Его дыхание облаками оседало на ветру.
En: His breath settled in clouds on the wind.

Ru: Рядом с ним была Аня.
En: Next to him was Anya.

Ru: Она была новой в команде, но её глаза светились энтузиазмом.
En: She was new to the team, but her eyes shone with enthusiasm.

Ru: "Мы здесь, чтобы открыть историю," — сказал Михаил, протирая запотевшие очки.
En: "We're here to uncover history," said Mikhail, wiping his fogged-up glasses.

Ru: Весна в Арктике не похожа на весну в других местах.
En: Spring in the Arctic is unlike spring in other places.

Ru: Снег продолжал лежать, а ветер становился лишь немного теплее.
En: The snow continued to lie, and the wind only became slightly warmer.

Ru: Команда обустроила лагерь среди снежных холмов.

Ru: Рука Михаила нервно наткнулась на старинный предмет, выглядывающий из-под льда.
En: Mikhail's hand nervously stumbled upon an ancient object peeking out from under the ice.

Ru: Это был каменный топор, покрытый древними письменами.
En: It was a stone axe covered in ancient inscriptions.

Ru: "Не может быть," — прошептал он, не веря своим глазам.
En: "It can't be," he whispered, not believing his eyes.

Ru: "Это меняет всю нашу историю," — взволнованно сказала Аня.
En: "This changes our entire history," Anya said excitedly.

Ru: Её руки дрожали от волнения.
En: Her hands trembled with excitement.

Ru: Но погода ухудшалась.
En: But the weather was deteriorating.

Ru: Ветер усиливался, и темные тучи тянулись с запада.
En: The wind was picking up, and dark clouds dragged in from the west.

Ru: Команда сомневалась, насколько это безопасно.
En: The team was uncertain how safe it was.

Ru: Но Михаил не хотел упустить момент.
En: But Mikhail didn't want to miss the moment.

Ru: "Мы должны довести всё до конца," — твёрдо сказал он.
En: "We must see this through to the end," he said firmly.

Ru: "У нас мало времени, но это важно.
En: "We have little time, but it's important."

Ru: "Аня принялась за работу.
En: Anya got to work.
