En: In the middle of the autumn month, when the wind swirled leaves in a dance, stood an ancient brick building — an orphanage. En: Trees framed it, blazing with bright shades of red and gold. En: It seemed that the sky itself reflected this beauty. En: Across the orphanage's grounds, decorations hung at every step: multicolored lights, pumpkins along the paths. En: The autumn festival was approaching, and all the children eagerly awaited it. En: Dmitry, a fifteen-year-old boy with serious eyes and a kind heart, lay in a small, cold room. En: He had a fever, and his face burned. En: His head was heavy, his thoughts tangled, but the desire to get up and see the festival was stronger than the illness. En: He very much wanted to go beyond the orphanage walls, to see the world from another perspective. En: Sasha, the matron of the orphanage, with a gentle voice and kind eyes, carefully looked after Dmitry. En: She brought him tea and comforted him. En: "Dima, you need to rest to get well," she said. En: But rumors of the upcoming festival made Dmitry dream of something bigger, of freedom, adventures, and life beyond the walls. En: Meanwhile, Anya, another orphan, often peeked into Dmitry's room, brought him books, read aloud, and talked about the decorations outside. En: Seeing how Dmitry wanted to be at the festival, she supported him as much as she could. En: The next day, as twilight enveloped the orphanage, a reckless idea was born in Dmitry's mind.
