Pl: Światło jesiennego poranka przeciskało się przez gałęzie drzew, tańcząc na podłogach starego, drewnianego domu.
En: The autumn morning light filtered through the branches of the trees, dancing on the floors of the old wooden house.

Pl: Magdalena stała na ganku, wdychając zapach palonych liści i pieczonych jabłek z cynamonem.
En: Magdalena stood on the porch, inhaling the scent of burnt leaves and baked apples with cinnamon.

Pl: Długo tu nie była.
En: She hadn't been here in a long time.

Pl: Teraz wróciła, pełna nadziei, ale i lęku.
