Pl: Bramy bazy wojskowej były otwarte dla studentów z akademii.
En: The gates of the military base were open for students from the academy.

Pl: Rafał i Jadwiga, przyjaciele ze szkolnej ławki, stali na uboczu, przyglądając się majestatycznym statkom.
En: Rafał and Jadwiga, friends from school, stood aside, watching the majestic ships.

Pl: Zimny wiatr niósł zapach morza.
En: The cold wind carried the scent of the sea.

Pl: Rafał czuł, jak jego serce bije szybciej.
En: Rafał felt his heart beating faster.

Pl: Marzył o karierze w marynarce.
