Pl: Wielka biała pustynia rozciągała się przed nimi, jakby nie miała końca.
En: The great white desert stretched out before them as if it had no end.

Pl: Słońce ledwie prześwitywało przez gęste chmury, rzucając na lodowe równiny chłodne światło.
En: The sun barely shone through the thick clouds, casting a cool light over the icy plains.

Pl: Ania, otulona grubym płaszczem, szła na czele rodzeństwa, wiodąc ich ku niepewnej przygodzie.
En: Ania, wrapped in a thick coat, led the siblings, guiding them into uncertain adventure.

Pl: Obok niej szli Marek i Kasia, zanurzeni w swoich myślach.
En: Beside her walked Marek and Kasia, immersed in their thoughts.

Pl: „Musimy być blisko,” powiedziała Ania, ocierając śnieg z rzęs.
