En: Janusz stood by the window of the hospital room, watching the snowflakes swirling outside. Pl: Zimowy wieczór przyniósł spokojny, biały puch, który przykrył hałaśliwe ulice Warszawy. En: The winter evening brought a peaceful, white blanket, which covered the noisy streets of Warszawa. Pl: Wewnątrz szpitala było jednak inaczej – gwarne korytarze pełne były pacjentów, a każdy dźwięk odbijał się echem pod sufitem. En: Inside the hospital, however, it was different – the bustling corridors were full of patients, and every sound echoed under the ceiling. Pl: To była Wigilia. En: It was Christmas Eve. Pl: Choć powinien być w domu z rodziną, Janusz spędzał ten wieczór w szpitalu, niosąc pomoc w potrzebie. En: Although he should have been at home with his family, Janusz was spending the evening in the hospital, offering help to those in need. Pl: Jego serce jednak było ciężkie, bo dopiero co stracił dziadka. En: His heart, however, was heavy because he had just lost his grandfather.
