El: Ο Dimitrios περπατούσε με γρήγορα, ανήσυχα βήματα στους στενούς, λιθόστρωτους δρόμους της Θεσσαλονίκης.
En: O Dimitrios walked with quick, anxious steps through the narrow cobblestone streets of Thessaloniki.

El: Η αυγή μόλις είχε χαράξει κι ο ουρανός είχε μια χρυσαφένια απόχρωση, αλλά το κεφάλι του ήταν γεμάτο σκέψεις για την κόρη του.
En: Dawn had just broken and the sky had a golden hue, but his head was filled with thoughts of his daughter.
