Ca: La boira baixava com una catifa espessa sobre Montserrat, embolcallant el paisatge amb un vel misteriós.
En: The fog descended like a thick carpet over Montserrat, enveloping the landscape with a mysterious veil.

Ca: Les roques es retallaven en formes esborrades, com antics gegants adormits.
En: The rocks stood out in blurred shapes, like ancient sleeping giants.

Ca: Adrià i Laia caminaven amb pas incert, els peus ressonant sobre el terra humit de fulles de tardor.
En: Adrià and Laia walked with uncertain steps, their feet echoing on the damp ground covered with autumn leaves.

Ca: Era La Mercè, una festivitat important a Catalunya, i els sons llunyans de la festa acompanyaven la seva travessia.
En: It was La Mercè, an important festival in Catalunya, and the distant sounds of the celebration accompanied their journey.

Ca: Adrià, amb el seu esperit aventurer, va suggerir una excursió cap el monestir, pensant que seria un dia perfecte per explorar.

Ca: Però la boira no estava als seus plans.

Ca: La boira ho fa tot més perillós —va respondre Laia, també preocupada pel temps que passava.
En: The fog makes everything more dangerous," replied Laia, also concerned about the passing time.

Ca: Adrià, però, va insistir en prendre un drecera que recordava vagament.
En: Adrià, however, insisted on taking a shortcut he vaguely remembered.

Ca: Laia sentia una pressió interior per prendre la decisió correcta i no volia discutir, així que li va seguir el ritme, però amb el mapa ben agafat.
En: Laia felt an internal pressure to make the right decision and didn't want to argue, so she kept pace with him, but with the map firmly in hand.

Ca: Els minuts es convertien en hores mentre la boira s'espesseïa, fent els sentits inservibles.
En: Minutes turned into hours as the fog thickened, rendering their senses useless.

Ca: La incertesa creixia.
En: The uncertainty grew.

Ca: Finalment, van arribar a un encreuament al camí.
En: Finally, they arrived at a fork in the road.

Ca: Adrià va sugerir anar per la dreta, segur que era el camí correcte, però Laia va assenyalar al mapa.
En: Adrià suggested going to the right, confident it was the correct path, but Laia pointed to the map.

Ca: —Mira, crec que hem d'anar per l'esquerra i retrocedir una mica —va afirmar amb determinació, tot i el dubte interior.
En: "Look, I think we should go to the left and backtrack a bit," she stated with determination, despite her inner doubt.

Ca: Després d'una conversa tensa, Adrià va cedir.
En: After a tense conversation, Adrià relented.

Ca: Laia tenia un punt clar, i per una vegada, considerà que potser la sortida no estava en un instint temerari sinó en la prudència reflexiva.
