5RSN: Trick Daddy Dives Into The Fish Tank

Our guys over at the Fish Tank, OJ McDuffie and Seth Levit, had Trick Daddy in for a fantastic interview. And we wanted to share it with you the listeners. Check it out!

From the moment he was featured on the Luther “Luke” Campbell track “Scarred,” Trick Daddy instantly became a staple in the Miami music scene. After singing to Slip-N-Slide records, Trick released back-to-back albums, receiving national acclaim and climbing to the third spot on the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart with “Nann” featuring Trina. Hits including “Shut Up,” “I’m a Thug,” “Let’s Go” and “Bet That” followed as Trick solidified his place in Miami music history. But it was the cover of his Thugs Are Us album where Trick revealed his passion for Miami sports as he donned an aqua Sam Madison jersey. Joined by his Love & Hip Hop Miami co-star, Gunplay, Trick discusses his love for the Miami Dolphins, his frustrations with Ryan Tannehill, his friendship with Channing Crowder and why he feels today’s society is lacking in family values and morals.
